Howdy Digital Prisoners! How are we all today? I loooooooove da rain! haha, very hazy recollections of my fourteenth summer but one of them was whenever a storm would appear Id immediately run out and try and get as soaked as possible. ANYWAY ANYWAY ANYWAY!!!! Theres something I feel I need to say, and something that shouldnt be ignored today. The lack of public dialog on the subject pushed the last major riot to happen, the one before and will be the initial spark for the next that the Crooks that rule us are pushing us towards. DONT LET THEM INTIMIDATE OR GET THE BEST OF YOU! It will simply be used to add more security to patrol us and Censor and Silence anyone. Right so here goes: Did the Minstrel show ever really leave town? The same people nowadays that would run as fast as they can away from a Al Johnson release are the same people that upload videos of calling each other nigger for the day or memes on how to be gangsta. Do you believe you are doing it for the love of Their Culture take a step back for a second and see you are supporting Cliches and Stereotypes. And wasnt that the entire business of the Watermelon slurpin, Fried Chicken chompin minstrels? If you truly care come on down to Toxteth and talk to people! Desperate acts and Maniacal deeds are often done when people cant stand being ignored any longer. And Im sure there are many, many people around here that have the most incredible art and whatnot to share But like the African Oye festival which was primarily Caribbean music while people attend a fun fair scratching nowhere near the near infinite amount of diversity the continent we all come from can offer Its all usually ignored in the present because IT CANNOT BE CATEGORISED. Maybe thats why Im seeing students on Smithdown walking around in 90s Dr Dre style gear. Its already happened, it can be branded and stereotyped and then the people that never actually speak to the people now walk around thinking they are supporting them. Im going to try and scout out peeps starting next week, come and join me! Another thing I need to get of my chest is when I was 9 years old I called Jay Grimes a classmate from my primary school a Nigger. He booted me up the bum and the night before my friends older brother told me the worst word you can say to anyone is Nigger. So I simply reacted with it, and when I actually found out what it meant I regretted it ever since but there was always tension between me and Jay afterwards that stopped me from trying to clear it up. Wherever ye may be Jay, Im sorry dude! Never said it to anyone since, and never understood the whole theyre filthy were not kind of mentality Always been colour blind, We are all Human before anything else Right anyway rather than waffle anymore Ill let the Beautiful Scatman Crothers sing one of my favourite songs from one of my favourite films. Asta Lavista Babies! x
