Howdy Folks, I was informed that April is volunteer month ... a message for first responders: we see a lot of humanity at its worst at times, death and destruction on a daily basis and probably more than most people will see in their lifetime. I learned to balance the bad that we see with the good that is out there. I have volunteered now going on 24 yrs. at my local elementary school it is a great feeling to be able to see folks at their best both parents and students as well as faculty and staff. I highly recommend that if anyone has the opportunity to volunteer to do so and if you can do so at a school even better, it is a great feeling and if you cant volunteer at a school volunteer somewhere where you can make a difference in someones life...feeding the needy, meals on wheels etc. Be safe my brothers and sister in Blue and in Red.
