Howdy Sole~Nation, Spring is here and San Francisco bay is right on schedule. The leopard shark bite is ON and red hot. We have been averaging 2 fish per person per trip of large pre spawn fish. The fish are fighting hard and bending rods on a daily basis. We are also trolling for halibut on the flats and seeing some very large early season fish this year. On Sundays trip, we scored a nice 25 pounder as well as 4 big leopards to 22 lbs for my group of six. In San Pablo bay, the sturgeon bite is consistent, and the bass trolling is fantastic.
