Howdy everyone, just to let you know Im still alive and barely kicking.. lol Its been 16 days since the hip surgery.. Im able to get out of bed and sit on the side by myself.. I can get in and out of the wheelchair and maneuver myself around pretty good.. Ive taken 128 steps with the walker now you want to talk about pain, thats pain!! The physical therapist is always in your face when your trying to do something, they put a belt around your waist and hold on to it and that throws you off balance, you never have the same person 2 days in a row.. I HATE THIS PLACE and I got at least 4 more weeks in here.. My goal is to go home for Thanksgiving, the therapist said maybe Christmas, well thats what say!!!! I go back to my doctor on Nov. 21st and Ill talk to him about it then.... Oh well its not like this is my 1st rodeo with a hip replacement..... Hey Ray and Robert thanks for bringing my baby Scrappy up to see me, that brightened up my day.. I miss him a lot, and I miss you guys a lot also.. lol.. Also thanks for my teddy bear, Ray and Erika, I sleep with him sometimes, but he keeps falling out of the bed.. Ill shut up and get ready for bed since it takes me a while to undress and dress, plus 4-5 am comes to early.. Thanks for all the prays, love all you guys.... Gayle
