Hows this for a lovely and natural mare! Last week this 9yo TWHBEA registered girl was sold by a by a gentleman that had her for 7 years. She was sold for $400 because he wanted a gelding that would be more willing to move out for his grandkids. He couldnt take the time to sell her to a private home and let a dealer buy her. On Monday she was taken to a sale in New Holland PA and was purchased by a kill buyer! Lucky for her a local rescue was there and noticed her. They couldnt take her but posted her pics and info on their Facebook page. The info was shared on a gaited page. I saw the post and today I drove to the kill buyers lot and pulled this lovely mare. She already has a forever home with a lovely lady in SC once she comes out of quarantine. What a tragedy it would have been to have lost this sound and natural mare.
