Hubby and I was talking yesterday I love this humble man!!! But any way we were talking and he said for a long time he desired to have older seasoned men of God in his life, ones that would take him under there wing and teach him the behind the scenes of Ministry. You know the things no one talks about, like the hurts, what they went though, what not to do etc!! But because he was desperate for the connections what he found were men who abused the friendship and only wanted him and us to come under there fellowships to make them look grand. Hubby said in this season hes not looking for any connections, hes going to allow God to connect him but in the meantime hes going to concentrate on building Gods Kingdom and doing what God called him to do. That will be his focus. Then he had the nerve to tell me this morning; as we were talking I was sharing with him how God has been dealing with me and how God is calling me up to a higher level. I shared with him how even tho there are things that we do as Christians that are not sinful (but if meat offends my brother) you know the scripture so there are somethings I wont be doing. For me in this season its not about doing what I want but its about denying my flesh and doing what God said. He responded that he is doing the same thing and that he is learning from me and that Im a great example!!!! That just made my day!!!!!
