Huddersfield Town fans are stepping up their campaign for ‘safe standing’ at football matches. Standing is currently banned at English football grounds, but the Football League has launched a consultation. A survey of Town fans just published showed that 72% wanted to stand at matches and 92% said the club should support safe standing. And today fans found an ally in Town chairman Dean Hoyle, who told the Examiner he backed safe standing.
