Huge shout out to licensed Zumba instructors Javin Bupasiri (Javin Bay) and Laura Boyd! Thanks Ashley Judd! We love hearing about our wonderful instructors, and are happy to have you rock out with us. :) -------- Well, yall, Ive mentioned I found Zumba, and that I love it. My inspiration was the cross brain exercise and balance using non dominant & dominant sides of the body (as happens in yoga). It began as just a little something good for the brain, with friends mentioning a class they really enjoyed. WELL. That class, my first teacher was the brilliant Javin Bay,https://facebook/ZumbaWithJavin who can MOVE like nobodys business. It has transcended brain work and become an experience of effervescent JOY. We have so much fun with him. We laugh, hoot, shake, wiggle, and and just happen to sweat like stuck pigs (sorry for yall who arent country, thats an expression I grew up with and it comes naturally). If you havent tried Zumba yet, consider stretching yourself and making a class. If the instructor does light you up with joy, try a few others until one tickles your spirit. I also love utterly to throw down with the great Laura Boyd, a Kiwi whose energy and intensity and sense of unselfconscious sensuality and fun is worthy of the Maori so admired for their fierceness!
