Huge thanks for all the awesome names! When I ask for character name donations on Twitter, I might get a hundred replies. I got 3500 here. So I know where Ill come next time I want one :) I played mix-and-match with names. For a surname, Im going with Madole suggested by Sheena Madole. The given name will be Aunika, suggested by Nancy Freeman (its her daughters name) So Aunika Madole, which suits all the requirements--not similar in sound to other character names, different first letter from the major characters, more unusual than other characters names (I have way too many common names in this series!), and, as a bonus, African and Irish, matching the characters heritage. Again, thanks! Ill be sure to hit you guys up again for names :)
