They offer exceptional benefits, flexible scheduling, and a casual work environment.The scope of the HR Specialist role is responsible for supporting the Human Resources team as a whole including but not limited to: employee relations, training, assistance in reporting, benefit programs, all other administrative duties as assigned.Location:CTA accessible on blue line near OHare.Responsibilities: This role is the first point of contact for all employees throughout the company. They should be able to answer all questions/issues immediately and if not, triaging them to the appropriate party within the department Partner with the HR team to provide support and guidance in all areas listed in this job description Facilitate corporate orientation and various HR related trainings Has a strong understanding of company policies, procedures, and benefits Assist with recruiting crossover between the HR department and recruiters as needed including screening resume, and coordinating interviews Assist the HR Generalists with employee relations tracking and documentation and administrative backup as needed Assist in writing/updating policies and procedures as needed Responsible for the administration of all health and wellness benefits including reconciling monthly invoices for the HR dept. and payroll manager Directly responsible for running reports for new hires, terminations, current employees and other related human resources information Maintain compliance with federal and state regulations concerning human resources and employment Assist with LOA paperwork and tracking Jointly responsible for Benefits open enrollment activities and communicating changes to employees Project management as assigned Maintaining all employee electronic and paper files as needed Data entry into HRIS system and administering all information as needed; as well as, running report Distribute, complete and process paperwork for new hires, changes and termination ADP administration, which includes new hires, change of status, terminations, benefits, etc. Process I-9s through eVerify, adding/removing I-9s to/from the folder, and discarding terminated I-9s per governmental guidance Coordinate IT and Facilities set-up, which includes desk setup, badges, desk moves, title changes, information security and badge policy enforcement, and information security policy training Coordinate Culture Club committee meetings and planning of employee events, games, and office decorationsQualifications: Bachelors degree required (preferably in HR, psychology, or business administration) Minimum of 3 years of HR experience, especially exposure to benefits administration Recruiting experience o r equivalent combination of education and experience PHR preferred Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite Previous ADP Workforce Now experience preferred Highly organized Exceptional professionalism Ability to maintain confidentiality Strong customer service skills dlvr.it/7wH2kV
