Another vile broadcast from Sky News, another letter from Gideon For the attention of Viewers Editor Adam Harding – Sky News news@sky Dear Mr. Harding My last e mail was one of congratulations on more balanced reporting, so I was particularly disappointed to see that tonights news was so outrageously biased. I refer to your report on Hamas announcement that it will break the ceasefire if Israel does not meet its demands to lift the siege on Gaza, with no hint of condemnation for restarting the war and no mention of the fact that clearly Israels bombardment was not disproportionate because it has failed to quench Hamas thirst for bombing innocent Israelis. Even more problematic was your report on efforts to rebuild Gaza. I can understand that you wish to show the problems involved in rebuilding the city – but to discuss the lack of cement without any reference to why is so problematic to allow Hamas anywhere near these building materials – the fact that it is appropriated by Hamas to build miles of terrorist tunnels across the border into Israel is extraordinary. It is either very poor journalism or outrageous bias. I am sorry to be harsh in my language and so persistent in my critique – I know that finding a balance is not easy and I have never complained to the media before – but to see the appallingly bias of some of your reports is deeply disturbing.
