Human beings may pride themselves in their higher intelligence however it seems we are the only species that needs periodic reminder of who we are and what we were created for. Any other animal from birth is inherently aware of what their function is and do not deviate from that. And we humans attribute lower intelligence to all other species of animals even though they live true to their identity and fulfill their function every single day. On the other hand, we humans are walking on this earth experiencing transient amnesia forgetting why we are here and someone has to intervene and get our memory restored. Perhaps this is why I like it so much that when a person is born, it is advised to whisper the following words in the infants ears, so that they can start with a sound reminder of the function of the human being tribe. Lets keep reminding ourselves this every day just to be sure we stay on the good path: Verily thou hast come by the Command of God! Thou hast appeared to speak of Him and thou hast been created to serve Him Who is the Dear, the Beloved. Bahaullah
