Humans Being..... As we go through this life and experience all we have to experience, we learn many lessons about everyone, and I mean EVERYONE around us... In the physical world, the spiritual world, the virtual world we hear, see and read things that get our attention and we react... positively or negatively, we react... How much of it is the truth..? Well, it all really depends on your definition of truth... There are facts, opinions, perceptions and on some level, they are all the truth to someone... And we react.... We hear politicians and salesmen say things that they profess is the truth, and for these individuals, it is the truth... THEIR truth... And some of us even buy into this version of their truth... But do we REALLY believe...? We all have beliefs in a million different things and that is our personal truth... My perception and belief is that to be really true to yourself and your soul, you must have the integrity and conviction in that truth for it to be real... to yourself and for others that you share that truth with... Truth is not only by the spoken word and the conviction in which its presented but by the actions you present and represent with the same conviction... Animals can vocalize, but their truth lies completely within their behavior and their reaction to everything around them... They have integrity and conviction in what they do, not by what they say... Thats what makes us feel superior to them; that we can vocalize feelings, thoughts, ideas, agendas, whatever... But I feel that it may very well be the other way around... The animals that we interact with dont judge us based on what their belief system is, they dont care that we dont have the best chore clothes on, have a great job, or what color our skin happens to be... They care about the survival and best interests of themselves and the herd that they are a part of... Thats all... The males may bicker and squabble, but they almost never hold a grudge; the wrestling match and spit-fest is over once they see pellets, and at the end of the day, the ones who were fighting earlier, are usually cushed next to each other in the shelter, quiet and comfortable... We judge them by the fineness of their fiber, their conformation, and their presence in the ring and in the pen... Males and females... But they could give a damn... they want hay and protection form the weather and companionship from each other... Thats their truth, and in that small and simple way, shouldnt that really be our truth as well..? All men and women are created equal... EQUAL.... I am no better than anyone else, and no one is better than me... Once we get through our ego, then, and only then can we hope to coexist with one another and truly have peace on Earth and goodwill towards all... Maybe a bit of a simplified view of things, but if we listen to our own instincts, our TRUE instincts, then we can achieve what has eluded the human race thus far in our existence; Unity and Harmony for all...
