Humans have come to the point of being plain savages---killing for no reason other than bragging rights. I lived for a short time near Mt. Shasta, in the far upper right corner of CA. The ranchers there put llamas and alpacas in with their cows and sheep. There were wolves and mountain lions in the area, but the alpacas and llamas kept the herds of cattle and sheep safe from predators due to their size and their ability to kick the heck out of them. It was rare for a cougar, mountain lion, or other predator to need to be hunted because nature has its own way of striking a balance. We need to stay out of Mother Natures way, and protect the rights of all living creatures. The government gives too many perks to farmers and ranchers who-for the most part, have no respect for the lives they take.
