Humberto OsorioIn the Saturday edition of Heraldo de Colombia, 25-year-old striker Humberto Osorio declared that he has agreed a move to Real Valladolid. The club itself meanwhile, have not issued any publish confirmation of the move, though they haven’t denied that they’re in advance stages of negotiations. In his newspaper interview, Osario indicated that he was looking forward to the opportunity of playing in La Liga, whilst also keen to link up with Colombian countryman Gilberto Alcatraz. “I feel motivated by my arrival in European football. It’s a dream I’ve waited to achieve for some time now. I want to do my best and score against some of the best teams in Spanish football. This is a big commitment and comes with a lot of responsibility on my part. Hopefully I can help Real Valladolid battle to be amongst the more privileged places in La Liga. I’m also pleased because there’s a fellow Colombian accompanying me there.” Although San Martín were relegated from the Argentine top-flight last season, Humberto Osorio scored 11 goals in 28 matches.
