Humility is not a popular personality trait in todays society.Many people equate humility to weakness.They believe that if sum1 want to get ahead in this world,he or she needs to take charge and be a strong leader,no matter what it takes or who it hurts.Scripture,though,teaches differently,one can be a strong and successful leader and still be humble.Humility then is not weakness,but an honest realization of who one is and where ones strength comes from.Humility is a character trait that is to be manifested in our relationship with God ,in the way we plan our lives,and the way we think about and treat others.Perhaps pride has replaced humility in some areas of our lives.My bro & sist,let us ask the holy spirit to examine our lives.He can help us have the true humility that comes from knowing Christ and submitting to Gods will.
