Hummmm. Some car drivers do not like bikes on the road as we know. However if you are going to blast at them for a near miss they can get a bit funny about it. The driver was in the wrong to stop his car in the place he did and create a situation. The guy on the bike should not have made a turn back into the road. I would fine the driver and charge him for assault. If it was me on the bike, as long as the car did not hit me on the road I would not bother starting something and just go about my day as normal. I have almost been under 5 HGVs and many work vans in London and I talk like a Police Officer. So people use some caution with me on road. It is so easy to upset drivers I find. Most times you dont even need to do anything wrong, they just tend to think you have no right to be on the road as you dont pay tax to use it. This is something I see a lot in the city. Just look at everybody on the road as mad and use caution in every situation and you cant go wrong. This is London cycling. I always say stop at Red lights and look around all the time. In the event of others road rage back off and let them vent, if they take things too far... well.. they could have a bit of a problem then. Weekend nights can be much like this also I find. If not drunk they are on a mobile phone... Oooop! BANG! Too late. Always the way in the city.
