Hummmmmmm !!!... went out for dinner this evening with my babygirl Becca Ozard for my mothers day treat ..thank you darling it was lovely to spend the evening with you .....BUT ..... It WAS entertaining to say the least ... We went to Alberts restaurant & bar on the East Lancs ... OH VERY DEAR !!! customer service is not your fortae shall I say ... Sending a meal back 3 times because it was cold .. we were told it had been probed and it was it 62 degrees ... SOREEE 63 degrees is holding temp ONCE it has been cooked from fresh .. where it has to reach 87 degrees to be cooked !!! ... my side orders were cold ... they got sent back ..and had to be asked to be brought back .. ( by this time they were cold again ! ) I asked for a cockail menu .. But it was my fault I didnt get a drink because I failed to catch the eye of the waiter ... We asked for our poor service to be reflected in the bill .... OH MY WORD !! I have NEVER felt so intmidated in ALL my life .. The boss man was invited to sit down to discuss our problems .. he already knew of one ( but failed to be atttentive to see if we were ok ) He declined and stood with his hands outstretched on the table in a non too friendly stance... we explained that he knew we had had poor service and hope as a gesture of goodwill somthing would be taken off the bill. No .. nothing .. if we sent a meal back ten times we would be expected to pay for it in full was the reply !!! I started to chuckle .... I pointed out all the problems we had had throughout the evening ( all two and a half hours) and he just shrugged his shoulders and firmly suggested that we NEEDED to PAY THE BILL NOW !!!!! I asked if he could not , will not or had not got the authority to offer a discount from our bill .. both was his reply .. I explained that I gave him 3 options not two !!! By this point Becca was getting cross and I had stared to get the giggles . I asked to see the manager .. no non available .. I asked who was he .. the manager was his reply ??!! This kinda convo went on for almost 10 mins were I stated . so you are happy for us to go away un happy and tell all our friends about the bad experience we have had this evening rather than discount 10% off our bill. ...... I wasnt prepared to be threatened with the police thank you very much ... !!! Becca paid the bill in full all £85.00 worth .eventually she got a contact detail for another so called manager ... who will respond immediatly to an email but cannot be contacted directly NOR will she allow customers to leave their contact details for them to contacted at a convienent time to discuss their concerns !!!! Like I said OH VERY DEAR Alberts resaurant & bar on the East Lancs .... Becca WILL be sending an email ........ and remind me again what does she do for a living ? and who does she live with ???? Humm may just have bulllied and intimidated the wrong customer .. a Julia Roberts moment ...... HUGE MISTAKE !!!! ( Becca ... thanks darling it wasnt your fault please dont feel bad ... it was fun to spend time with you ...and it was nice and warm under those heaters !!! love you lots x x x x )
