Hundred Day Challenge Update - Day 19: The dietary changes - TopicsExpress

Hundred Day Challenge Update - Day 19: The dietary changes continue to go well. Better for me than Satyros, I think, but overall well for both of us. Were not exercising every day, but we are getting some form of exercise at least a couple times a week. Staying off Facebook aint happening; Im trying the dont Like anything experiment (as of tonight) which may end up helping me to wean myself off. Spending more time focusing on each other is going pretty well. :-D --My joints have continued to feel better and better. The only exception was Saturday evening into Sunday; we had gone to dance Saturday morning and I discovered that I could move and breathe more easily than I had been able to for YEARS... so I danced my ass off... and was stiff and sore the next day. The stiffness and soreness was gone by Monday, though. --Which was a good thing, because Monday night I spent a little time helping K get stuff packed into a van... and not only did my joints behave themselves, but I felt much stronger than I have for quite a while. It felt great! --The feeling stronger/breathing better is showing up in other places too; I dont get nearly so out of breath going up stairs now, and I can go up faster, and without checking to see if one of my knees wants to take that opportunity to go out. --Sleep is... interesting. Satyr has had a few bouts of restless leg (or something like it) that has kept us both awake in the middle of the night, but (a) Im still able to wake up in the morning feeling refreshed, and (b) hes able to sleep in so he gets enough rest. So, overall still a noticeable improvement. --My overall energy level is improving, enough that going out and doing things is more appealing. Im currently spending a lot of that energy at work (where things are crazy) and on finding out as much as I can about whats going on in Ferguson, and being upset about it. With luck the circumstances causing both will be resolved (in a positive way) soon, and I can use that energy for other things. --My shape seems to be changing somewhat, although my clothes havent really gotten looser. Its mostly that my muscles seem to be firming up, which I really love. --Oh, and my hair! Last time I used shampoo on it was Saturday of last weekend, so its been a bit more than a week... and I really love it. My hair is soft and silky and light and just sort of glows, especially the silver. I think it might be getting a little longer, too. The ends are kind of crispy (its been a year and a half since my last hair cut), so I put some conditioner on them Sunday and left it in overnight, which helped a bit. I still want to do a thorough hot coconut oil treatment; maybe next weekend so I can leave it in for several hours. Im also working on getting my scalp to where it doesnt insist on being washed every day in order to feel and look good; so far thats going well too.
