Hungarians who are resident in the territory of Ukraine must have the status of autonomy and double-citizenship. This was claimed by Victor Orban, the prime-minister of Hungary in the parliament. To the point of view of Orban the question of the status of Hungarians in Ukraine is very acute for the Budapest. The status of 200 thousand of Hungarians who live in Ukraine gives a special emphasis on this question. The Hungarian diaspora there must get the double citizenship and all the rights of the national community and also it must get the opportunity of self-definition, he claimed. Those are our clear expectations as for new Ukraine which is now developing, the Hungarian prime-minister added.
