Hurricane Gonzalo Update, 10.14.2014, 9:30 am. Hurricane Gonzalo is a Cat 2 with max sustained winds at 110 mph. (Note: 111 mph becomes Cat 3). Before, We give you Update, please let us know how you fared last Night? USVI? BVI? (worried about Anegada), PR? Antigua? St. Martin/Maarten? St. Barts? St. Kitts/Nevis? Barbuda? Martinique? Anguilla? Vieques/Culebra? Hurricane Gonzalo Update: Gonzalo is located at 19.9N.. 64.8W, approximately 105 miles N of STT; moving NW or 315 degrees. (Was wondering with ## Forecaster Caley, if it went 360 degrees, would we have a Wrong Way Lenny Effect). Mbs 974. WATCHES AND WARNINGS: *BVI & Anguilla TS Warning discontinued. *St. Martin & St. Brats TS Warning still in effect. *USVI & PR Flash Flood still in effect Gonzalo is expected to continue on its current Path with a turn to NNW late Wednesday. Hurricane Gonzalo will continue to move over open Atlantic on its current Path. TS Force Winds extend out 105 from Center. We also have Invest 91 to our E, but Models, at this time, not having it strengthening much & soon making a turn to the WNW or NW. It appears only shipping lanes need to possibly worry about this. Nevertheless, as usual, we will monitor it for you. Damage: E End North side, minimal that I have observed, few broken trees, limbs, no electricity, and Sea is overtopped little bay and small flood by this Station. We are in process of gathering information from other Caribbean Isles. Have seen videos out of Antigua & Anegada, which appear they had a tough time.
