Hutch fans! Heres an update on the Trick Star and XL24 - TopicsExpress

Hutch fans! Heres an update on the Trick Star and XL24 release. The 2015 Trick Star and 2015 XL24 frames are scheduled to arrive at the Hutch headquarters just a few days before Christmas. Although it would be fun to have one of these under your tree for the holiday, the schedule is just too tight to make that happen. Therefore, the release will be after the New Years holiday, so that everyone has a fair and equal chance to get one of these after theyve returned from their holiday travels. Unfortunately, naming an exact date and time of the release in January will not be possible. The Pro Racer release in 2013 created a surge of 60,000 page hits in a matter of minutes , and our host pulled the Hutch web site offline to let things cool off. However, EVERYONE will get a fair and equal shot at getting a low serial number in their choice of color. There will be no deposits, pre-sales, or buddy favors provided to anyone in-advance of the release. We did request that the manufacturer include the serial number on the outside of the boxes so that we can send these out in-order to when they were purchased. However, keep in mind that both the Trick Star and XL24 are offered in multiple color options, and serial numbers do not start back at 0001 for each color. Likewise, please understand that I will not reply to emails asking which color has #0001, as it would be an unproductive time-consuming process. Just take your best shot at your preferred color choice and you will end up with the lowest possible serial number. Product specs and pricing will be published at the time of release, but all geometry and technology is updated for today. For now, here is the list of items that will be available: Trick Star frame and fork, flatland version, 19.5 TT, with standing platform, with removable brake mounts on frame and fork, 2 colors: chrome and pink. Trick Star frame and fork, street/park version, 21 TT, without standing platform, with removable brake mounts on frame, 2 colors: chrome and hammered silver. Trick Star frame and fork, street/park version, 22 TT, without standing platform, with removable brake mounts on frame, 1 color: chrome. Freestyle (ladder) bars, chrome. XL24 frame and fork, 21.75 TT, 3 colors: chrome, gloss black, gloss white Cruiser bars, chrome. We are working hard to have as many accessory parts available at the same time, such as stems, compression bolts, headsets, and no-boss spline-drive Aerospeeds (Aerospeeds might be delayed until closer to spring). Candy red and candy blue can be applied over any chrome frame set by special request for an upgrade charge of around $100.00. That includes the correct stickers being applied. Best way to do this is to purchase a chrome frame set and include a note saying you want a candy color, which will ensure that the order is held and responded to accordingly. A reminder that the HutchBMX web site is UPDATED DAILY for product availability...so if you see it, then its available for purchase! The web site will calculate shipping to anywhere in the world and will ship factory-direct to you.
