*********Hypothetical Scenario***************** Lets say that you go in for you annual review at your employer. You sit down with your immediate supervisor and they begin to tell you how much they enjoy you working for them. They tell you that you have done a great job and are so happy that you choose to come work with them. Then they proceed to explain the point system that will be used to evaluate your performance and DETERMINE HOW MUCH/IF ANY RAISE YOU WILL RECEIVE FOR THE COMING UP YEAR. They go through your points and every thing averages out to, lets say--------- 7.8 out of 10 point scale. Ok, that is not great but not bad. It was your first year at the new employer and it gives you room to grow. THEN, they proceed to tell you that there is one more indicator that is used to evaluate your performance. This indicator is based on how EVERYONE in the company performed last year. This indicator come out be a 2 on a 10 point scale. YEP A 2! So with this new information your eval. comes out to be a 4 out of possible 10, instead of 7.8 out of possible 10!!!!!!!!! So your raise is now based on a score of a 4 instead of a 7.8!!!!!! How do you react to this news?
