Híŋhaŋni wašté Sisters and Brothers :) This is be a good day. Happy Full Super Moon time :) May the Buck Moon bring many blessing to you and yours. While it it known as the Buck Moon by some, here in the Land of the Apache people it was called moon of the horse and time of ripeness and the Zuni, “when limbs of trees are broken by fruit.”. For the more northern tribes of the Great Lakes, Chippewa and Ojibwe, it was “raspberry moon. To the Lakota Peoples this July moon was known as the red blooming lilies moon. It had different names from each tribe. This called a Super Moon, because the moon is its perigee, the four times a year when it comes closest to Earth in its orbit thus appearing up to 30% larger than a normal moon. Taŋyáŋ yahípi (welcome) to the new friends that come here to join their Lights to ours. All is welcome here. Philámayaye Grand Father for this day. We are very grateful. I Love you all, each and every one of you
