I 100% aggee with the statement of Mr Raza Bukhari as he wrote that "The Lal Masjid operation, similar to the operation against militant Nawab Akbar Bugti, was a military operation and under the Constitution of Pakistan is not open to scrutiny by the High Court. This vicious vendetta against the Former President must stop. This is not only a witch hunt against General Musharraf, but is also functionally dragging Pakistan Military actions in to Courts that do not have jurisdiction over them. Nothing good will come out of this unwarranted judicial activism, should it continue unchecked." If ithe those military operations against the militant are being considered as worng steps then what about those who started military operations agaist militants in Swat , Tribal area, Waziristan and FATA etc. These must be treated with the same yard stick as being used for Mushrraf. It is the voilation of constition to bring military operations meant for the security of the country to discuss in courts or in public. if you start arguing the secrets of military operations , including their strategies , tactics and plans in courts and public, this tantamounts to divulging military secrets in the public, which the armed force people may not like it.I do not know how many operations and wars in future the armed forces have to fight for the defence of this nation. if we start draging their chiefs, who were not alone in taking the decision to intiate the operation, like this against the provisions of constitution, then who will undertake such operation again in future, seeing the consequences which their which their previous Chief undergone . Draging one paricular army Chief who fought wars against the deadly enemy, and serve this nation to the best of his capability, served the common man, enhaced the reputation of the country abroad, bring in foreign invest in volumes and said Good bye to WORLD BANK and IMF for aid or loans, brought stabilbity in the country by initating military operations in consutation with the polical leadership of that time and top military leadership, where ever it was required. Draging him in the courts and insulting him for nothing may cause insullt of the of the nation in eyes of whole commity of nations world over. see the leadership of USA and Bratain. they never criticise the work of their predecessors and look forward to make mistakes correct. Even in india they hadly criticise their prdecessors and look forward to contribute something better. It is in Pakistan that the incumbent Govt in power spent half of the its tenure in criticising and witch hunting the previous leadership and himself do nothing for the common man.The reamining half tenure is spent in horse trading. For God sake do not discuss the military operations in courts or in public. Its consequence will not be good. For get about the past and look forward.Leave the nostalgia to history. You commit yourself to the good work for the relief of common people, so that the people will vote you to power in the next election. For get about Mushrraf and treat him with repect as ex president of Pakistan and Chief of Army Staff.Give him full protocols and facilities. If he wants to come in politics let him come and try . He is a petriotic Pakistani, who served this country for good 8 years. The big leaders never believe in witch hunting or revenge taking. like the founging leader of South Africa. He forgave every one even those who put him in jail for many year. May be black or white he put the nation togther irrespective of their friends or foes together and asked them to look foward tother as one nation and make this country a great. Now see South Africa, its economy and its place in commity of nation world over.At the end I suggest all those at helm of affairs, stop this witch hunting and not to discuss the military operation in the court of law or in public. These are very sensitive things and its consequence may not look good. This is own opinion and views any body may differ with it. Thank you. like the most Like · Reply · 5 minutes ago
