I *** AM *** SUCH *** AN *** IDIOT *** !!! Somehow my wallet (portefeuille, hard to pronounce) once again managed to levitate itself (or be levitated) from my back pocket. I didnt realize it until I got home from class and emptied my pockets. Can you imagine the PANIC? I grabbed my passport in case I needed ID and some American dollars in case I needed money and ran back down to the school. Went to the secretariats office. They didnt have any lost wallets but took my name and promised to notify by by email toute de suite if it was turned in and were very sympathetic. I went upstairs to search the bathrooms I frequent and my three classrooms. In the last classroom there it was, on the floor behind the chair Id been sitting in, with all my money and cards and everything else still in it. Went back downstairs to let the nice people in the secretariat know that Id found it. Can you imagine the RELIEF?
