Dear Mr. Afzal, With reference to your application and subsequent interview held 21.05.2013, I am directed to offer you appointment against the position of Junior Research Fellow under the above mentioned project on a project based. Please note the following terms and conditions: 1. You will be paid an amount of Rs. 12000/- (Rupees Twelve Thousand Only) +HRA fixed p.m. 2. Your headquarters will be at G.B. Pant Institute of Himalayan Environment & Development, Kosi – Katarmal, Almora but you may be required to be posted anywhere depending upon the work requirement. 3. The offer is made initially for 12 month from the date of your joining the said position or till the date of termination of the project whichever is earlier. Further extension shall only be granted on assessment of your work performance and capabilities. You will be required to provide a brief report of work done on six monthly/yearly basis. 4. You will not be entitled to any travelling allowance for reporting to join the said project. 5. The offer may be terminated at any time without any prior intimation and/or assigning any reason thereof. 6. The above offer will not confer any right on your regular appointment in the Institute. The period of service rendered in this project will not be counted for the purpose of seniority. 7. If any declaration given or information furnished by you proves to be false or if you are found to have wilfully suppressed any material information, you will be liable to be terminated from this position and such other action as deemed fit.
