I Am Not Perfect The truth of the matter is this, I am not - TopicsExpress

I Am Not Perfect The truth of the matter is this, I am not perfect, I never proclaimed to be perfect, and neither do I pretend to be perfect, because I know who I am, I know who I was before GOD changed me, and I remember who I was before I became the man I am now! And even though I am not the man I was before, I still am not perfect, but I desire to be like CHRIST JESUS who is perfect! And even though I strive after perfection with all my soul, mind, and heart, I am still a man torn apart, I cannot hide these many wounds and scars I have! For I am not perfect!~ Though some may deem me to be perfect because of the truth I speak, but I am weak, and the only strength I have is in the revelation knowledge of GOD I know in CHRIST JESUS, for without JESUS I can do nothing, for he is my everything, and I am everything in him!~ I am not ashamed of the gospel of JESUS CHRIST, it is my life, it is who I am in him, and without him I am nothing more than a 4 time felon, a career criminal, a drug dealer, a gangster disciple, a whore monger, a man who been to jail for murder, and a man who been to the penitentiary three different times in my life! But with JESUS, with the revelation knowledge of GOD in CHRIST JESUS, I can do all things, I can be all things, and all things are possible for me in CHRIST JESUS, because I believe in CHRIST JESUS! And I am not ashamed of the gospel of JESUS CHRIST, I am not ashamed of the revelation knowledge of GOD in CHRIST JESUS, I am not ashamed of the wisdom of GOD in CHRIST JESUS, I am not ashamed of the living word of GOD which is CHRIST JESUS, that CHRIST JESUS has revealed to me by revelation knowledge, for it made me into the man I am today! And even though I am not perfect, I am everything GOD says I am in CHRIST JESUS, and I can do all things through CHRST JESUS who strengthens me, for I know when I am weak he is strong in me, and my greatest strength is that I know my weaknesses! Brothers and sisters I am not perfect, I am flawed, I am damaged goods, I am far from being perfect, but my faith in JESUS is perfect, because its foundation is built upon the revelation knowledge of who JESUS is, and that alone is perfect in the eyes of almighty GOD! Brothers and sisters, We all have failed as some point in our lives, we have all sinned against GOD, we were all sinners at some point in time, and we all have fallen short of GODS glory at some point in our lives, but real faith never fails, you might fall, your flesh might fail, but real faith never fails! You might fail, you might deny you know JESUS, you might curse out the people who recognize you to be a real follower of JESUS CHRIST, and you might even deny JESUS three times as the rooster crows, but just because you fail, that does not mean your faith has failed! For real faith will bring you back to GOD, real faith will cause you to repent from the heart, real faith will torment you day and night with the word of GOD it has faith in, and believes in! You might fail, but real faith never fails, real faith will make a failure come back more than a conqueror! You might fail, but real faith never fails, you might fall hard, you might even fall flat on your face, but real faith will make a failure come back with a vengeance, and their faith will be so strong, because of the sufferings, trials, and tribulations of real life experiences, that you would not even recognize the failure anymore, because of the strength of their faith!~ (Luke 22:31-34) JESUS SAYS, Simon, Simon, behold, Satan has desired to have you, that he may sift you as wheat: But I have prayed for you, that your faith does not fail: and when you are converted, strengthen your brethren. And Simon Peter said unto JESUS, Lord, I am ready to go with you, both into prison, and to death. And he said, I tell you, Peter, the cock shall not crow this day, before that you shall three times deny that you know me. (Mark 14:53-72) And they led JESUS away to the high priest: and with him were assembled all the chief priests and the elders and the scribes. And Peter followed him afar off, even into the palace of the high priest: and he sat with the servants, and warmed himself at the fire. And the chief priests and all the council sought for witness against JESUS to put him to death; and found none. For many bare false witness against him, but their witness agreed not together. And there arose certain, and bare false witness against him, saying, We heard him say, I will destroy this temple that is made with hands, and within three days I will build another made without hands. But neither so did their witness agree together. And the high priest stood up in the midst, and asked Jesus, saying, Answerest you nothing? what is it which these witness against thee? But JESUS held his peace, and answered nothing. Again the high priest asked him, and said unto him, Are you the Christ, the Son of the Blessed? And JESUS said, I am: and you shall see the Son of man sitting on the right hand of power, and coming in the clouds of heaven. Then the high priest rent his clothes, and said, What need we any further witnesses? You have heard the blasphemy: what think you? And they all condemned him to be guilty of death. And some began to spit on him, and to cover his face, and to buffet him, and to say unto him, Prophesy: and the servants did strike him with the palms of their hands. And as Peter was beneath in the palace, there comes one of the maids of the high priest: And when she saw Peter warming himself, she looked upon him, and said, And you also was with JESUS of Nazareth. But Peter denied, saying, I know not, neither understand I what you say. And he went out into the porch; and the cock crew. And a maid saw him again, and began to say to them that stood by, This is one of them. And Peter denied it again. And a little after, they that stood by said again to Peter, Surely you are one of them: for you are a Galilaean, and your speech agrees thereto. But he began to curse and to swear, saying, I know not this man of whom you speak. And the second time the cock crew. And Peter called to mind the word that JESUS said unto him, Before the cock crow twice, you shall deny me three times. And when he thought thereon, he wept. (John 21:14-18) This is now the third time that JESUS shewed himself to his disciples, after that he was risen from the dead. So when they had dined, JESUS said to Simon Peter, Simon, son of Jonas, do you love me more than these? Peter said unto JESUS, Yes, Lord; you know that I love you. JESUS said unto him, Feed my lambs. JESUS said to him again the second time, Simon, son of Jonas, do you love me? Peter said unto him, Yes, Lord; you know that I love you. JESUS said unto him, Feed my sheep. JESUS said unto him the third time, Simon, son of Jonas, do you love me? Peter was grieved because he said unto him the third time, Do you Love me? And he said unto him, Lord, you know all things; you know that I love you. JESUS SAITH UNTO HIM, Feed my sheep. Verily, verily, I say unto you, When you was young, you girded yourself, and walked wherever you would: but when you shall be old, you shall stretch forth your hands, and another shall gird you, and carry you where you do not want to go. (Acts 3:1-10) Now PETER and John went up together into the temple at the hour of prayer, being the ninth hour. And a certain man lame from his mothers womb was carried, whom they laid daily at the gate of the temple which is called Beautiful, to ask alms of them that entered into the temple; Who seeing Peter and John about to go into the temple asked an alms. And PETER, fastening his eyes upon him with John, said, Look on us. And he gave heed unto them, expecting to receive something of them. Then PETER said, Silver and gold have I none; but such as I have give I you: In the name of JESUS CHRIST of Nazareth rise up and walk. And he took him by the right hand, and lifted him up: and immediately his feet and ankle bones received strength. And he leaping up stood, and walked, and entered with them into the temple, walking, and leaping, and praising God. And all the people saw him walking and praising God: And they knew that it was he which sat for alms at the Beautiful gate of the temple: and they were filled with wonder and amazement at that which had happened unto him. (Acts 5:14-15) And believers were the more added to the Lord, multitudes both of men and women.) Insomuch that they brought forth the sick into the streets, and laid them on beds and couches, that at the least the shadow of PETER passing by might overshadow some of them. I remember a man asked me a strange question, he asked me, who are you most like the bible? And I said many of the prophet’s names, Paul’s name, and even JESUS name, but now that I think about it, I am more like Peter! I was a prisoner in prison at a bible study when I was in my early twenties, and the minster was shaking the prisoners hands as we lest the service to go back to our prison cells, and the minister grabbed my hand with both of his hands, looked me in the eyes, and said unto me, Satan desires to sift you as wheat, but I have prayed for you, that you faith does not fail, and when you are converted, strengthen your brothers! Those words were spoken to me some 17 years ago, and they speak volumes unto now more than ever, and I can hear them like they were just spoken to me today!~ The truth of the matter is this, I am not perfect, but my faith in JESUS is perfect! ~~ If you enjoy reading the messages consider signing up for weekly or monthly emails with a link of current messages.
