I BELIEVE IN THE EMANCIPATION OF NORTHERN NIGERIA - TopicsExpress

I BELIEVE IN THE EMANCIPATION OF NORTHERN NIGERIA [ADMINISTRATIVELY]; I BELIEVE IN ONE NIGERIA I love people who are objective in their views, just like Timawus Mathias. Follow his thought process on this one: “THIS IS SUPPOSED TO BE AGAINST ME. IS IT? Funny but true. ** Vice President -North. ** Senate President -North ** Speaker House of Reps - North. ** PDP National Chairman - North. ** Head of Service - North. ** INEC Chairman - North. ** Inspector General of Police - North. ** Chief Justice of federation - North. ** President Court of Appeal - North. ** EFCC Chairman - North. ** President Federal high court - North. ** National Security Adviser - North. ** Chief of Defense Staff - North. ** Controller, Customs Service - North. ** Defence Minister- North. ** Education Minister- North. MD Port Authority- North. MD NDIC - North ** Controller Prison Services - North. ** Richest man in Africa - North. ** 85% of Petroleum Marketers in Nigeria - Northerners. ** 80% of Oil Block Owners in Nigeria - Northerners. ** 99% of beggars in Nigeria - Northerners ** Boko Haram - North. Yet, the Poorest states in Nigeria and Educationally backward areas in Nigeria are in the North. Now, ask yourself, what is the problem of the Northerners? Keep forwarding till it get to all their leaders may be they will have to re-think... “xxxxxxxxxxxx I do not see it from your perspective. I am angry that with all of these we still have the challenges in the North. Obvious is the fact that the North is not being led right. The Northern masses are brainwashed against one another on tribe and religion, and against the south. The Northern masses are kept hungry so that they will sell their votes at elections and submit their states to pillagers. Certainly this large lot should form a bullwark of pro Northern opinion in the government. “xxxxxxxxxxx still does not pardon the lot that we have while yet holding the short ebd of the stick. Granted the President is powerful over all else given our constitution, there is more to be desired by the overkill of these appointments and we cant even get our children employed. You want to impress me? Give me a Southern list that counters this. Mark you, I am not even saying that the number is too large. I am talking about leverage not being commensurate and it is unacceptable. “xxxxxxxxx you paint the picture of the Northern predicament succinctly. We remain pilloried to our beliefs that the South is our enemy. There is ni basis. Look at the numbers for Borno under Sheriff. 9 out of 10 school age children were not in school. He built the classrooms purely to access UBEC funds and dole out contracts, but check out enrolment and teacher training! Then he brilliantly imported and assembled motorcycles which he named after himself and called that job creation, attending to no infrastructure that engaged the youth. Now the youth engage us. Which enemy caused this? I agree some Nirthern States are making progress, namely Jigawa where I am engaged, Kano, Katsina, Gombe, Plateau and Taraba. But check the numbers even in these states for education. “I travel by road alot. Between yesterday and now I have covered over a thousand kilometres Dutse Kano Kaduna Abuja Jos through Manchok, Bauchi and back to Dutse. 7 States Jigawa Kano Kaduna FCT Nassarawa Plateau and Bauchi. These can feed the nation, provide livestock needs, access and sell renewable energy from the sun the wind and small rivers. We only need to look away from oil and concentrate on what is beneath our soil. Doing so will engage our people. Among us we preached hate. Religiius people with limited knowledge sowed not the love commanded by God and the Prophets, but hatred on the basis of tribe and religion. Infact education was made abhorrent for the masses while they sent their children to private schools and abroad. Now they look at the ugly world that is not fit for theor children to return to. We put ourselves in thus pillory. Our approach to national politics encourages class conflict that you do not see in the South where money and opportunity speak. In the North, sentiment and ignorance rules. This is not hypocritical is it xxxxxx? “... In the North, we have created Boko Haram. People who set off bombs and kill by hundreds and are yet to tell us what they want. How do you explain the factors other than poverty as the cause? “Boko Haram is home grown xxxxx. Of course it has balloned into a brand now used for bank robbery, settlement of scores, chicanery and mischief. There were cases where Southerners were caught in Boko Haram brand activity and other cases were mercenaries and bounty hunters. Come on learned lawyer Yebbi do not trivialise the well clear narrative.”
