I CAN’T BREATHE: Words by a black man as he was being choked - TopicsExpress

I CAN’T BREATHE: Words by a black man as he was being choked down by a law enforcement officer, while not one of his buddies found the courage to take a deep breath and say STOP. Now the black man’s death, and a non-indictment fuels symbolic protests by athletes, street demonstrations by thousands, and vigorous debate across our nation, all thanks to a judicial system that finds itself in its own self-inflicted choke hold looking for breathing room. Much like the judicial system, our self-policing political system has run amuck as millions of middle class Americans find themselves not in a choke hold, but a financial stranglehold. Politicians continually find new ways to take another piece of our paychecks, retirement checks, dividend checks, pension plans, or any other personal revenue source or asset they can get their greedy hands on. If “we the middle class” don’t wake up, stand up, speak up, and show up we’ll soon be lying in the streets of America, saying WE CAN’T BREATHE as a result of our own inability to stop re-acting, and start ACTing. So if you could use some breathing room, and are ready to speak up, then add your name to the stand up and fight back map. realjoeyou Please like it, share it, and help promote it – ENOUGH is ENOUGH
