I Can not celebrate this upcoming independence day July 09, 2014 when i live in fear of what may happen in the next day, when my mothers, brothers, sisters are suffering in the UN camps, Refugee settlements and living in the Jungles, ordering shoot to kill for those violating the curfew. Wasting 23 Million South Sudanese Pounds for organizing this celebration while you have fail to bring for us peace, projected famine coming up. Waiting for the next celebration when the two parties commit themselves to permanent ceasefire and lasting peace in South Sudan. As for now i instead mourn for those who lost their dear lives because of this senseless avoidable war in my country.
