Both of these plants contain alkaloids that are hallucinogenic. The witches brew when properly brewed is reduced to a green paste which is applied to the skin and absorbed into the bloodstream transdermal. Users report sensations of flight and erotic ecstasy. During the inquisition many women confessed to flying to sabots and having romantic encounters with demons while under the influence of the drug.
