I DONT UNDERSTAND MMDAs PLAN THAT REQUIRES SACRIFICING SCHOOL TIME - TopicsExpress

I DONT UNDERSTAND MMDAs PLAN THAT REQUIRES SACRIFICING SCHOOL TIME TO ACCOMMODATE IMPROPERLY TIMED CONSTRUCTION PROJECTS. And to try to convince the parents and schools that the 20% reduction in schooldays will result in 20% saving by schools that can be ploughed back to improve school facilities...HELLOOOOO? If you reduce school time you have to reduce tuition. kailangan pa bang I-memorize Yan? Why not make school bussing mandatory and govt subsidizes cost?Private schools contribute much of the additional road traffic bec of the one car one student ratio. Why not mandatory office bussing? Why not FREE bussing? Why not move school hours up or down in time and by 1 hour so theres no traffic overlap? How about no retail deliveries during the day? Why not ask certain cities to change work and local school times to stagger general volume? Or even better, why not just properly implement the Christmas lane concept along w al of the above? Whats bad is the sacrificing is a result of possible poor planning, timing, and the lack of political and emotional bank account of the MMDA w the LGUs.. Brother Armin should give them hell at the next cabinet meeting bec theres are so many possible solutions and of all the things to sacrifice education isnt one of them.
