I Do Not make post about my health!!!. But Ifeel the need to educate today. Im studying for finals -scanning through Endocrine disorders.Last of May was a year I had my Thyroid/parathyroid glands Removed. This small butterfly organ that sits around front of windpipe (controls almost every regulatory system in body) was literally killing me. Slowly but surely. I suffered from Hoshimotos thyroiditis. I can remember the boys were small and I lived with severe bone pain etc... to the point I could not stand or walk. To the point of almost using a wheelchair. No one but my immediate fam knew the struggle I endured. So now A year post operatively. .Im in the best health I have ever been. So Im taking advantage of it!!! If you experience any of the following symptoms. Weight gain,Edema, lethargy, irritability. .cold intolerance, low heart rate..temp...bone pain..bone spurs.mental foginess/severe mood swings, hair loss, dry skin, digestive issues, breathing issues , swollen/pressure in throat, feeling like something is just not right, swollen face/eyes. This is all hypothyroidism or thyroid not functioning. Hyperthyroid (overactive)is a life threatening condition !!!!!! Signs are...Irregular heart rate...stroke zone blood pressures ..respiratory issues..hyperactive.. insomnia...HOSHIMOTO is the best of both of those all day everyday..Imagine my day going back and forth continously through both extremes. My thyroid was so damaged..the surgeon literally reached his hand in my throat to disect small pieces at a tike to remove it. IT had adhered or grown to my windpipe and neck ligaments..causing my breathing and swallowing to be affected. SEEK medical advise/treatment ASAP. Will post a before and after pic so u can see the difference. People ask about my 5 inch scar. ...After I tell them and Im alone. . I feel it and look at it and smile..I love my scar!! Inspires me not to take life for granted.. Im a survivor. If you need advice from me ..private message me. U dont have to suffer for decades like I did. I HAVE TO ADD..
