I GAINED 2 KILOS!! It had been 2 years since the last time I weighed myself, yesterday at the doctor check up, I noticed that I have gained 2 kilos, 4.4 pounds. You might think it not to be much, but I seriously do not feel comfortable in my skin, or my clothes. Since I am not pregnant, I want to be back to my usual 58 Kg, nothing more, nothing less. Here is how I handled it: First I went mad and had a fight with my husband, then I analyzed it and figured out why and how it happened: Since I got married, I do not do the same type of activities, I do not go out daily, I do not shop at the mall, I do not go dancing for hours, I sleep very early, before I use to sleep very late, I do not have a full time job, so I do not move as much as I use to, also, Kevin eats desserts after each dinner, I never use to do that. The second thing is, even-though I preach 2 workouts a week for life, this last year, I have not been going to the gym regularly, in fact, during October, November, December and January, I did not workout not even once, in Feb and March, I was going once a week which is clearly not enough, April, May and June I was launching the book so had no time at all, especially that I was doing everything on my own, and we were relocating from East to West coast. So there it is, now that I know what happened, I made peace with myself, and do not feel bad at all. Here is how I will handle this going forward: stop having whole milk with my coffee every morning for a month, start working out twice a week without any excuses (luckily we have a gym at our compound), take more walks with my husband in the evenings, do more outdoor outings on weekends, eat desserts but not as often as before, get a part time job. I will write back once I lose the 2 kilos. I do not want to put a time frame because I do not want to pressure myself. I want to prove once again that Great Body No Diet really works! ciao, on my way to the gym :) Enjoy your day, work towards your goals.
