I GOT THIS EMAIL FROM ONEdotORG & I DONT GET IT. Dear Jaime, We waited too long to react to Ebola. Were still waiting for world leaders to finish the job. We cant wait to stop crises like Ebola once and for all. Our petition says: Dear World Leaders, Were counting on you to quickly make and deliver bold commitments and help end the Ebola epidemic now. Some countries have stepped up. But we need a bigger response, delivered much faster. Talk is cheap. Its time for action. I have to admit I dont understand what the email means. Does it mean that people are sitting on a cure and not doing anything about it? Are they saying that the world leaders have had a cure but didnt want to sell it? Does it mean that theres not enough money being thrown at the problem (bec as far as I hear theres A LOT of money being thrown at this problem). And what does this sentence in the petition mean Were counting on you to quickly make and deliver bold commitments and help end the Ebola epidemic now.. I mean, is every country equipped to contribute to the eradication of ebola? Its linked to a very catch video supported by many named personalities. But why dont I get it?
