I GOT TO DRIVE TODAY!!! (But I was afraid it would be my last.) The Doctor had released me to drive February 26, but Daniel has not. He is afraid I will fall or drop the keys and I am not supposed to bend over. He had an eye appointment this morning and he had his eyes dilated. So I had to or GOT to drive. We went on out to Walmart after the appointment, went up to both banks here in town, then to Quincy. As I was leaving Marine Bank and pulling away from the drive-up window, I hit the curb. This was the first time I got to drive the new car. The car is much lower than the van and I did not see the curb. I drove to Quincy where we ate at the Best Buffet. We came out and OOPS! FLAT TIRE. It was the one I hit the curb with. He was sure I caused the tire to split or something. We took it to the Quincy Walmart. It was a nail. The repairman said it looked like it had been there for a while. WHEW!!! We were truly impressed with the workers in the Quincy Walmart auto departmen. About Daniels eyes. Now he knows it was NOT the incorrect prescription of the glasses which is causing his problems. His cateracts are worse and needs to be taken off. Cannot see the surgeon until September 30 then go from there.
