I HAVE CONFESSED MY SINS... AM I SAVED? As I said in my last - TopicsExpress

I HAVE CONFESSED MY SINS... AM I SAVED? As I said in my last post that confession of sins do not lead to salvation. Salvation is a very important issue in a mans life; no one should gamble, speculate or religionize it. It is too risky a business. The Bible is Gods guide book to lead men in the path of salvation. Paul said to Timothy, And that from a child thou hast known the holy Scriptures, Which are able to make thee wise unto salvation through faith which is in Christ Jesus. 2Timothy 3:15 Apostle Paul says that the Scriptures, not what we think, feel or are told, but the Scriptures are what will make you wise unto salvation. So if you want to be saved, you can ask God to help you understand what the Bible says about getting saved. Salvation can only be according to what God said. Many times one is so ridden with the guilt of sin, that the only way to feel some respite is to confess the sins. But that is just an emotional release not an experience of salvation. Sin can be very burdensome, that is the reason for several religions of the world. Everyone is inventing his own way of having some respite from sin. Some cry, some weep, some fast, some do penance and some live a celibate life. Others become vegetarians, some live an austere life and build alters in their homes etc. all these they do seeking for one thing -a respite from the burden of their sins. The truth is that none of those things has ever brought salvation to anybody. They can only offer you a momentary emotional release but never salvation. If you are ever burdened with a load of sin, Only Jesus Christ can take off the load from you. He and He alone said, Come unto me, all ye that labour and are heavy laden, and I will give you rest. Matthew 11:28 Jesus offers rest to all that come to Him. He offers absolute rest from every load and burden of sin. If a man must have eternal respite from sin, then his answer is Jesus Christ. Outside Jesus, he can only grope in darkness, speculate and if he continues in such a careless attitude, he will end up in Satans hell; which is the very thing hes been trying to avoid. As stated earlier, confession of sin does not save a sinner in any way. God tells mankind how to be saved....... THE CONFESSION FOR SALVATION Ill continue from here in my next post, stay alive and God bless you
