I JUST HAD TO SHARE!!!! To God be all the glory. We climax our 2nd annual youth conference in grand style this morning; the anointing of the Lord invaded and filled the place, from the beginning of the service when our youth praise team begun worship I knew God was up to something. Oh but Charles Wesley Methodist youth choir and praise dancers my Lord; our youths sang and dance under the anointing of the Lord like never before, it was just a foretaste of what heaven would be. I bless God for the outpouring of His Holy Spirit which was so evident from Thursday night when Bro. Armbrister started the conference with a powerful soul stirring message, when the altar was made the young people ran to altar. On Friday Lord have mercy what a word from the Lord delivered by Rev. Cedric Albury, chains were broken, people were delivered and set free and hearts truly were blessed. The presence of the Lord showed up strong as the youth choir ministered, heaven came down and glory filled my soul, I felt like I could have flown all over the building. What was mind blowing and so profound for me was yesterday at the youth seminar and panel discussion; our young people displayed such a burning desire to know more about God, it was so encouraging and I was amazed at the questions the young people asked and the comments they made. Dea. Geleta Turnquest and Dea. Colin Moss (our panelists) concur that they were in theology class because of the level of questions and answers that the young people were making. To hear our young people especially the young men speak about God and what He means to them was heart warming and encouraging, they are truly chasing after God. All of the services were very well attended and truly a blessing, I give all praise and thanks to God. A parent came and started to give me all the accolades but I quickly informed her as I reminded myself that it was all because of God that I had very little to do with anything . However, I thank Him for the the gift and calling that He has placed upon my life; not for any good work of mine that I should boast. My daily prayer is that God will keep me humble and true to the call that Hes placed on my life as I through Him continue to help to mold and shape the lives of our young people. I have been in prayer services, rehearsals, practices and traveling non stop for the past six weeks; my physical body is tired but my spirit remains strong in the Lord. Even though I now have a sore throat and am headed back to work tomorrow for another busy season and have not rested well; if I had to do it all over again Ill still say yes. I am just so excited about what God is doing and will continue to do in and through my life and the young people at Charles Wesley Methodist Church; as He continue to use us as vessels to bring glory, honor and praise to Him. May prayer is that He will continue to bless, strengthen and keep us as the righteous apple of His eye. THE NAME OF THE LORD BE PRAISED!!!
