I LOVE YOU SHRIMP LINGUINI WITH WINE REDUCTION SAUCEINGREDIENTS:1-2 pounds of peeled and deveined large shrimp1 package of linguini (plus ingredients on package)4-6 tbsp. extra virgin olive oil2 cups of white wine½ cup of cream sherry2 slithers of floured unsalted butter (roll slithers of butter in flour until coated)1 diced tomato¼ finely chopped fresh cilantroJuice from ½ a lemonDried thyme (to taste)Sea Salt (to taste)Ground Black Pepper (to taste)Granulated Garlic (to taste)Large skilletLarge potREADY, SET GO: Cook linguini according to package in large potHeat extra virgin olive oil in large skillet on medium heatClean shrimp, then season shrimp with sea salt, ground black pepper, granulated garlic and dried thymeAdd shrimp to skillet and cook for 3-5 minutes on each side or fully cookedRemove shrimp from skillet and set asideDo not clean skillet, turn heat up to high heat, add white wine, cream sherry and floured unsalted butter to skillet, stir and allow to come to a boil, once boiling reduce heat to medium, add lemon juice and allow sauce to reduce by half about 10 minutesOnce sauce is reduced to half add linguini, shrimp and chopped cilantro to skillet and gently toss in sauce until incorporated, allow to simmer on low heat for 5 minutesSprinkle diced tomatoes on top
