I LOVED watching Allen Iverson play basketball...so much heart, so much passion for the game but his past became his present and future, unfortunately - sometimes things and people in the hood NEED to stay there! Im really praying for this brothers spirit. This isnt a race issue, its a spiritual issue - no guidance and pride (among other issues) took Allen down! (quote Wilma Scott - its NOT rocket science but it seems even more difficult when the traps of bling, bling, & more bling are made to look like economic success and we grab hold of the BLING GHOST to only find that it was smoke. Too many of our youth have no foundation to use to make economic success REAL.)
