I Like to give feed back on saddles,bits,pads or anything I use or try that can help someone else.I purchased this training bit about 2 months ago to train and encourage Mirage to have a better headset to gait better..some says its not in the saddle design or a bit or the headset..well...that is partly not true..Mirage was riding in a western snaffle while in trail training and the bit encouraged a lower headset in this case Mirages gaits were just not right.In combo with using this paso training bit and raising his saddle with some memory foam up and off his shoulders he can gait beautifully and really stroll covering some ground now.His head is set a little differently to encourage his gaits to be much much better and faster,so fast I am now aggravated that we fly on the trails...ha..ha..and trust me when I say this bit is NOT harsh like some have mentioned...When I ask Mirage to slow down he can hold his mouth a certain way and barrel right through the bit and also to eat grass..I am now teaching him its a no no to eat while we are moving.Anyway..thought I would share.Good Training bit.
