I MUST share a funny story with all of you. I know it is late, but I cant quit laughing... Candy needs a temperament/behavioral test. It is for her records to be sure she is emotionally equipped to be adopted into homes with any type of dogs. I thought since she is at a 24 hour care facility that maybe someone there can do that test. I called up to the clinic and asked about the test and got confirmation that they can do that for a dog. I then told the receptionist that was great that Candy was in their care and I needed her tested. The lady then said that she was not there. My mind spun in circles as I guaranteed her she was there, since I dropped her off there earlier. She then asked, you are talking about Candy that was shot right? I confirmed that yes it was that Candy and I knew she was there. The receptionist told me to hold and took off. I waited a bit and she came back on the line laughing. She confirmed that Candy was there, but it was a secret. I began to laugh so hard. I was then connected to a vet tech at the back and have Candy down for her temperament test on Saturday. Then just a little while ago the sweet receptionist found me on our local rescue page and this is what she wrote: Im sorry Mrs. Hitt... Because of all the media Im guessing it was hush hush where she is located... I didnt mean to startle you... I hope a technician spoke to you and you were able to get some answers. Then she wrote But I was so excited to hear she was there I peeked my head through the window and saw her little sweet face... She looked content and peaceful. I give huge kudos to an amazing 24 hour vet clinic and phenomenal staff. I can sleep peacefully tonight, with a huge smile
