I,Nihar Vaghasiya,3rd year B.Tech computer engineering student,am contesting for the HC-Magazine Secretary post(Swami Vivekanand Bhavan). Let me first tell you the importance of the magazines and newspapers in our life. They keep us connected and updated with the world while the social networking distracts us. My manifesto is as follows: ->I want to give equal opportunity for readers from every department by ensuring that we have sufficient content from every field and interest. ->In our third and final years we tend to prepare for competitive exams like CAT,GATE,GRE and UPSC.Hence we shall have enough material related to competitive exams as well as the current affairs. ->As per my observation, the inmates dont have the access to older newspapers. So i will maintain one log of older newspapers and the magazines that come daily along with newspapers. The inmates can subscribe from the very next day onwards. ->WE will provide a mechanism to give alerts of arrival of new issues and we will notify the borrowers before the due date to make sure there will be minimal penalty. ->The selection procedure of the magazines which should be available in our hostel will be made open for suggestions and voting such that the maximum and optimal use of the budget will be there. In short, the system will be more flexible. I have been active in the field of literature and magazine reading from my childhood.I have received an award for my poetry.I have also been writing the blog based on poetry and articles.Due to the campaigning rules i cant put its link here. But anyone can message me to get it(just to know more about my work). Feel free to contact me or to give suggestions anytime. Thanks and Regards Vaghasiya Nihar Sureshbhai Cell.8980463121 E-mail- niharvaghasiya8@gmail
