I QUIT Considering the fact that the People are addicted to our culture of corruption: That they have the power to stop it, yet ignore it. They compulsively feed it, knowing it to be harmful, yet depend on it to solve the problem. I realize that every addict needs a sponsor. A good sponsor is usually an addict thenselves, who is successfully holding back the addiction. Therefore, if I have any hope of being as effective as I can, I need to put my own house in order. Not that I shouldnt do it anyway. I am going to quit smoking! On the 9th of August. Why the 9th? Because Im doing it right. I start taking Welbutrin on the 1st, and it takes about a week for it to fully start working. Ill purchase my last pack on the 8th. Im letting the world know about it in the hopes Ill be encouraged, or else shamed if I fail. Ill keep track of my habbits until then, and decide on what replacement habbits Ill apply. Liquorice will be on hand in good supply, as I know Ill have the urge to eat whatever I see, and its a better alternative that keeps my hands busy. Ill post weekly updates for the first month or two, and then at least monthly on the 9th of each month. Also keeping track of the money I save, and the days at the end of my life that I save. Who thinks I wont make it past a week? 1 month? 2? 6? 1 year? Forever?
