I Salute You Yesterday’s terror bombing in Beirut, south Al Dahia, resulted in the killing of at least 20 incents people and injured more than 250. This is the third attack in less than a month. I will not discuss who is behind these attacks or the reason behind it. Instead, I want to talk about the school and ethics these people of south Lebanon belong to. If I may go back in time to 2001, Sep 11th at home United State of America. The death toll resulting from the worst terrorist attacks on New York was about 2900 people. The entire globe condemned and almost every country on the face of the earth offered their support and cooperation. On the other hand, some people at home retaliated against Muslims, Mosques, Arabs, and even Muslim look alike. Not to belittle the value of devastation of Sep 11th. But in comparison to the terrorist attack in Lebanon, 20 incent people dead for a country of population less than 4 million; Yesterday was Lebanon’s 9/11. Yet we did not hear any news about people retaliated, not a single person killed in revenge. People lost their kids, Husbands, Brothers, and Nabors. What Kind of discipline these southern Lebanese people have? The Least we could do is to nod in respect to you. Mahmoud Bader
