† I Suddenly Know † He gave him the plans of all that the Spirit had put in his mind for the courts of the temple of the LORD and all the surrounding rooms, for the treasuries of the temple of God and for the treasuries for the dedicated things. 1 Chronicles 28:12 NIV David gave Solomon all the plans for the temple that he was to build, but the plans were originally given to David by the Holy Spirit. Even though Solomon was the wisest man that ever lived, there was another source of wisdom far beyond that. Long ago, before there was Google, when DOS or UNIX was the standard computer operating system, the Lord began inviting me to work on computers. He would cause people to call me, and then give me the ability to fix the problem. One day an accountant’s office called me to come look at their customer database. Evidently one of the computers on the network had crashed with the database open and corrupted all the tables. I had very little experience with DOS networks, or really any network at that time. And the database was very valuable to them as it contained the tax returns of hundreds of clients. I did not even want to go but I felt the Lord urging me forward. I prayed all the way there. I walked to the server and with butterflies in my stomach with the office gathered around watching me, and suddenly knew what to do. I typed a few commands and repaired the database. They thought I was a genius and were my client for the next fifteen years. You do not have to walk alone today. There is a wisdom beyond the natural that is within your reach. When you are faced with things that you do not know how to do, turn to God, pray, listen. You may not hear but many times you will suddenly know what to do.
