I WANT TO TESTIFY THIS MORNING! This has been a difficult month for our Family, as we deal with the tragic loss of our young nephew in the Philippines! and just three weeks ago, we buried My Wifes Grandfather, and as I have watched her and all the family suffer from the loss of these two Loved ones in the same month, and with the fact of being so far away from all our Family that makes it so much worse, I confess that I have struggled! Now as we face one more week of vigil and his burial on this coming Saturday, we must let go and give this to God! NOW HERES THE TESTIMONY! My 6 year Son Adrian was helping me cook last night and he was asking me about Renz and was concerned about all the sadness, In our Family, and here is what he said and I quote Dad there is no way out of this situation! We just need to pray Dad! WOW The Holy Spirit really touched me when I heard this and the Lord just started speaking to me, that our response to painful situations in life demonstrates the level of trust we have in God. God has told us many times that He allows trials to perfect us and make us more like His Son. Trials are not to be dodged or avoided as much as they are to be endured for the sake of the lesson. Asking God the right question in the middle of a trial is an expression of your trust in Him. The question should not be, How am I going to get out of this?, but rather, What am I going to get out of this? By changing how to what, we show our dependence on Him to teach us and our willingness to learn from HIM. And we know that God causes everything to work together for the good of those who love God and are called according to his purpose for them. (Romans 8:28 NLT) My Lesson: We do not know when God will call each one of us into HIS presence, so spend time with your Family, Loved ones and close friends! Love them Enjoy them and cherish them they are a Gift from God! FORGIVE! THATS RIGHT FORGIVE! If you have a family member that you havent spoke with in a long time CALL THEM BEFORE IT IS TO LATE! This is what Im going to be doing this week! Jesus said Blessed are the Peace makers! He didnt say Peace keepers!
