I WANT more than anything to be a correctional officer for Riverside County. I am currently taking criminal justice classes to gain more knowledge about the qualifications needed for my future career. Everyone says its a dangerous job which I am 100% aware of that but Im highly interested in the jobs the criminal justice field has to offer and no one can talk me out of this permanent decision Ive made and have wanted all my life! Can anyone share with me any personal experiences as a deputy or correctional officer? I would love to continuously better my knowledge and have a first hand on knowing what really goes on in jails and even prisons! Thank you :)
