I WAS JUST READIN DIS THRU MY NEWS FEED i was touched I WAS RAPED BY MY UNCLE AND MY MOM JUST TOLD HIM TO APOLOGIZE AND GIVE ME A HUG... Hello. I normally wouldnt do this but, heres my story.... my uncle raped me at the tender age of 7, it went on for a few years until I finally told my mother. Instead of her getting upset with him or calling the police she figured an apology would be better! Im 30 years old and it still hurts me to this day that she didnt protect me instead told him told him to apologize and give me a hug.... to make my long story short, I forgave them both a long time ago, you see, I didnt loose Im a stronger mother, woman, and wife because of it. Im AWARE because of him and I taught my kids to be AWARE as well. # dont let your past define who you are, life brought us to it and God brought us through it!!!!
